Dr Nathalie MIGNET is doing her research at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Université Paris Descartes as research director, where she in charge of the team “Nanovectors for targeted therapy and molecular imaging”. Her research dedicated to nanoparticles is interdisciplinary, at the interface between chemistry, physico-chemistry, cell biology and in vivo studies.

After a PhD in Montpellier on oligonucleotide synthesis in 1996, she was hired by the company Lynx Therapeutics in San Francisco working with Dr S. Gryaznov.
She then joined the University of Sheffield to work on the method SELEX with Dr D. Williams.
In 1999 she was hired by the French biotech company Capsulis and entered the CNRS as a research Scientist in 2000.
In 2005, she was awarded as Young Research Scientist in Biophysics by the CNRS/CERC3. She has signed 58 articles, 8 book chapter and 3 patents.

From 2012 to 2013, she was president of the GTRV (Vectorisation group). In 2014, she founded the French Society for Nanomedecine, SFNano.
She is actively involved in the working groups imaging and therapeutic of the European Technological Platform for nanomedicine.
